Industry Leader Spotlight: David L. Geenens MBA, CPA, Associate Professor

In this edition of our Industry Leader Spotlight, we are honored to feature David L. Geenens, MBA, CPA, and Associate Professor. With a distinguished career in both academia and the business world, David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Life-changing Truths for the Tormented Leader; Leaderslip - Reversing the Decline of American Business Leadership; Nothing is Free - The Cost Only Business Leaders Can Bear to Safeguard Free Markets; and Truth and the Transcendent Business - Heresy or Prophecy?

David’s insights into the relationship between government intervention and business ethics are particularly thought-provoking. He states, “The level of government intervention is inversely proportional to the level of virtue practiced in business.” This quote encapsulates a fundamental truth about the interplay between regulatory oversight and ethical business practices.

David’s career has been marked by a commitment to fostering ethical behavior in business. As an Associate Professor, he has dedicated himself to educating the next generation of business leaders on the importance of integrity and virtue in the corporate world He not only accomplishes his teaching as a Professor but as one of the Founders of Spark Tank, a program dedicated to enhancing justice and equity by launching economically viable enterprises in under-resourced American cities and communities.

We are grateful to David for his dedication to educating the next generation of business leaders and for sharing his valuable perspective with us. His work serves as a reminder that the pursuit of virtue in business is not only a moral imperative but also a practical strategy for reducing the need for external regulation.
